Boldy express your beauty with #Revlon
This post brought to you by Revlon. All opinions are 100% mine.
Recently I received the Revlon Expression Experiment kit. When I received my kit I was super excited. It contained the following amazing products: Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting makeup primer , Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener, Revlon Colorstay eye shadow palette in seductive, Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow palette in inspired, Revlon Super Lustrous red lipstick in Certainly Red, Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart and Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in fire. Plus I received three nail polish products: Revlon Colorstay Base Coat, Revlon Colorstay in Sorbet and Revlon Colorstay Top Coat.
First I put together a fun tropical look for my teal boho dress featuring Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow palette in inspired and Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart and Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in fire over the primers.
Then I tried out a look inspired by the movie Grease. I used the Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow palette in seductive and Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Certainly Red over the primers.
My third look is a natural eye with bright lips. Over the primers I used the lighted shadows from each palette (1 on each) and topped it off with Revlon Colorburst lipgloss in fire.
Lastly I tried out the nail products. Though the beautiful orange Sorbet shade is perfect for spring and summer it will also transition quite well into fall (ooh, pumpkins and Halloween) and then winter with shades of brown.
All in all I really enjoy how daring and fun the shades are that Revlon is currently offering to women everywhere. If you are more on the shy side though the eyeshadow palettes also include somewhat tamer shades, as shown in my third look above. This makes Revlon empowering for all types of women.
I am thrilled with the three red lip products that I was able to test out since I've gotten much more into wearing such vivacious shades lately.
The colors of these products are long lasting. Plus the Photoready Primer is light on my skin. I love not feeling it. I normally do not need a base coat on my skin but when I do I don't want to feel it all day. The eye primer is easy to squeeze out and a little goes a long way. I recommend applying it with your fingers.
If you are also trying Revlon's makeup line I'd love to see any of your looks below or you can leave a link and I'll go check it out.
Don't forget that you can also join the movement of self expression with the Revlon Expression Experiment Facebook application.
