This post brought to you by Hpnotiq. All opinions are 100% mine.

Primp & Prep is the totally awesome new site from Hpnotiq . One of the fun parts of a girl's night out is getting ready with your girls at home first. Hpnotiq has created the perfect site for getting into the the party mind set.

The Primp & Prep site features cocktail recipes, celebs, beauty, fashion, guys and the Hpnotiq Harmonies Pandora internet radio station. This station has to be one of my favorite parts of the site. It features current hit songs that really get me in the mood to dance. The type of celeb gossip that the site features is so fun. For instance I read an article entitled, "Emma Stone Dishes on Her Favorite Part of Ryan Gosling’s Body". Hint, it's not what you think.

Another awesome feature are the cocktail recipes. These are great for pre-gaming with your gals (FYI-always have a designated driver or take a cab if doing so). Did you know that Hpnotiq has a new flavor called Hpnotiq Harmonie? It is a refreshing blend of Premium French Vodka, Infused Natural Fruits, Flowers and a Touch of Cognac. The site features recipes for both the original Hpnotiq and the new Hpnotiq Harmonie flavor. Why not make the above Stiletto Sangria (killer name!)? Simply mix 1 part Hpnotiq Harmonie, 3 parts dry white wine and top with ginger ale or club soda. Then you can garnish it with fresh fruit. Yum!

You should also check out the Hpnotiq Boutique while you are on the site. It features so many fun Hpnotiq items such as Hpnotiq Blinking Rings and Hpnotiq boy shorts (how cute!). Plus you can even use the site to personalize a pic of you and your friends from your night out at the clubs. Wow, it will definitely take you a while to explore all of the fun aspects of the Primp & Prep site.

Ladies, I definitely think it's time for a hair down music up! night out!

You must be 21 years or older to drink alcoholic beverages and as always, please remember to drink responsibly.

Miss Dior…(is the) perfume of a young Parisienne, as seen by Dior. Miss Dior is an elegant young woman full of vitality. But she’s also a seductive woman.

Okay, how much am I loving this Natalie Portman for Miss Dior campaign? It’s simply glamorous. The song in the commercials is Je t’aime moi non plus (translation=”I love you me no more”) by Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg. They were directed by Sofia Coppola. The print ads were shot by Tim Walker. Miss Dior is a blend of jasmine, Turkish rose and Tunisian orange blossom. You can check out the making of video here.

So as I was covering the Philadelphia Wizard World Comic Con last summer I decided to look for some interesting, original topics to cover. When I spotted these two fellows, Joe Centner and Sean Gitter, I was intrigued. They have their own original, short animated series that you can watch online. Their show Sean and Such is about two best friends who are employees at a pet store.

Plus I’m not gonna lie, the fact that Joe was cute didn’t hurt my stopping at their table to check things out. They were totally awesome to both Hot Donna and myself. So please check out my signed photo from them above and my interview with them below. Plus I’ve also included the first episode of their series so you can get a taste of it. It reminds me of Clerks, which, if you know me is definitely high praise.

This post is for the LAMB Acting School 101: Sigourney Weaver. I have chosen to focus on 3 films that I’m a big fan of Weaver’s work in.

Heartbreakers

I have been a huge fan of the flick Heartbreakers since I first saw it at the drive in. It’s a funny, engaging movie that I always enjoy. Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt costar as a mother-daughter con team. They seduce rich men for their money. Things become more complicated than normal when one ex catches on (the always sexy Ray Liotta) and JLH falls for a seemingly poor bartender (Jason Lee) while they are trying to trick a totally gross Gene Hackman.

Galaxy Quest

As a nerd who attends conventions myself I’ve always been a fan of Galaxy Quest. Although I’m not a Trekkie, (what the film is obviously spoofing) I still go gaga over meeting celebs at cons. This movie stars Weaver, Tim Allen, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell, Daryl Mitchell, Enrico Colantoni and a young Justin Long. It’s about a group of actors from a space show called Galaxy Quest. When they re-unite to earn some dough at a sci-fi convention they accidentally end up being abducted by real aliens. Of course comedy and action ensues.

Working Girl

Yes, Working Girl is Melanie Griffith’s movie. She’s the up and coming secretary who wants to be a real businesswoman. Plus the sexalicious Harrison Ford costars. Yet every scene that Weaver is in she seems to steal. Weaver stars as Griffith’s seemingly encouraging boss that she really looks up to. Well, that is, until Weaver steal Griffith’s idea. That’s when Griffith must impersonate the tough as nails Weaver (who is away on vacation and then recuperating from an accident during said vacation) and accidentally start seeing Weaver’s man (yep, Ford!).

This post is for the LAMB Acting School 101: Sigourney Weaver.

In 2009 Parade Magazine featured the stunning Sigourney Weaver on the cover to promote the film Avatar. I was thrilled by the photos because they were so gorgeous. It’s rare to see so much effort and creativity into styling a woman who isn’t super young. Yes, that was 3 years ago and yet I still thought if it straightaway when I thought of Weaver. So I’ve made a collage of the photos below. Please enjoy.

The interview can be found here and the slideshow of photos is here.
