Last week I decided to go out and sing some karaoke as I love to do. I don’t do it nearly enough though. I often go with a boob top when going out, to steal a phrase from “Must Love Dogs”. Luckily I had recently bought a fun Nicki Minaj top from Kmart for a great price.

Tyra would hate this no neck shot.

So I built the outfit around that. I added some kick ass 80s throwback jeans from DOTS (RIP) and I had to go with my old Barbie necklace on this one. I mean, it’s the obvious choice. It’s Nicki Minaj for Pete’s sake.

Obviously the lighting on my staircase sucks but I had to have a pic that includes my shoes. That’s just who I am.

Yeah, you can see my top and necklace in this photo but the main point here is to show you a panic attack. This is my face during a panic attack. Yeah, anticipating hatred by strangers can be scary. Luckily that didn’t happen that night. The fact that there is a 50/50 chance of that happening blows though (I make up my own statistics).

I had a decent, not great time. I sang two songs so I did accomplish that, which was why I went. I sang One Piece at a Time by Johnny Cash and later My Favorite Mistake by Sheryl Crow.

I'm a goofball.

I’m a goofball.

On the way home I took a selfie with this giant Ten Commandments in front a of a local church because I find it ridiculous when sober and hilarious when drunk, atheist up in here. (I know, this is an awful angle for my face, but I don’t care, it’s still makes me chuckle. )

I’d like to introduce you to CBT’s Closet. They sell incredibly fun jewelry. You can also shop their site NB’s Closet which offers a lot of customized options.

CBT’s Closet sent me a package full of awesome goodies which included a laser cut Barbie Necklace, Heart Knuckles necklace and a ring. They were packaged nicely in pink wrapping paper with a sticker and business card.

Yesterday I incorporated the awesome Barbie necklace into my outfit. I was tempted to go with an obvious Barbie look, possibly head to to pink. I held back a bit though. I paired a cute dressy tube top and pink jeans from Dots with my recently thrifted cardigan (bought the same day as my pullover). Instead of my very Barbie style pointy pink heels I opted for these ballet flats that I thrifted a while back for an upcoming photo set.

I ended up feeling very Marilyn Monroe sexy. It was a bit unusual for me because I actually showed cleavage.

I received quite a few compliments and inquiries on where I bought my necklace. So it would be a great gift for the fun young women in your life this season. I also really dig all of the below items. I mean Nintendo and taco rings, how super fun. They are very affordable too, many necklaces are $15 or less and rings start at $5. They are available in a wide variety of colors as well.

The current IFB Project is Channel Your Inner Superhero so this seems like a good time to talk about the Red Badger.

When I turned 25 I decided to have a costume birthday party. My sister and I actually convinced almost everyone to dress up. It was so much fun.

I created my own superhero called the Red Badger for the occasion. It started when I spotted some really cute red boyshort panties that tied in the back while shopping at a department store. They screamed superhero. At the time I considered underwear a viable outfit choice.

I paired them with one of my favorite bra by Jezebel and some red heels. Then I ran around getting accessories such as fabric (just tied around my neck) as a cape, a red mask, hair dye, red fishnets and a birthday pin. I would have been done but spotted a mustache in Party City and decided that the Red Badger was definitely a transsexual superhero. Everyone loved playing with the mustache including the guys which I found hilarious, since they could grow one.

I had a wardrobe change.

My sister created her own superhero called the Purple Peacock. She paired a cute tank & dress shorts with fishnets, boots, a purple top hat, feather boa and fancy mask. I do believe that she was heavily influenced by Brian Molko in Velvet Goldmine.

Timmy/his creation

Something incredibly neat was that my friend Timmy made and gifted me with this doll dressed as me.
