Last week I decided to go out and sing some karaoke as I love to do. I don’t do it nearly enough though. I often go with a boob top when going out, to steal a phrase from “Must Love Dogs”. Luckily I had recently bought a fun Nicki Minaj top from Kmart for a great price.

Tyra would hate this no neck shot.

So I built the outfit around that. I added some kick ass 80s throwback jeans from DOTS (RIP) and I had to go with my old Barbie necklace on this one. I mean, it’s the obvious choice. It’s Nicki Minaj for Pete’s sake.

Obviously the lighting on my staircase sucks but I had to have a pic that includes my shoes. That’s just who I am.

Yeah, you can see my top and necklace in this photo but the main point here is to show you a panic attack. This is my face during a panic attack. Yeah, anticipating hatred by strangers can be scary. Luckily that didn’t happen that night. The fact that there is a 50/50 chance of that happening blows though (I make up my own statistics).

I had a decent, not great time. I sang two songs so I did accomplish that, which was why I went. I sang One Piece at a Time by Johnny Cash and later My Favorite Mistake by Sheryl Crow.

I'm a goofball.

I’m a goofball.

On the way home I took a selfie with this giant Ten Commandments in front a of a local church because I find it ridiculous when sober and hilarious when drunk, atheist up in here. (I know, this is an awful angle for my face, but I don’t care, it’s still makes me chuckle. )

The current Sinful Sunday prompt is panties. In an awesome coincidence I just got some new rhumba panties that I’d love to share. They go great with my pink soled pumps. In case you are wondering, I rarely wear heels in bed, I don’t want to hurt anyone…too much.

Note: Clicking through the ShoeDazzle hyperlinks in this post and making a purchase will result in referral points for me.

If you are even an occasionally reader of this blog then you know of my love ShoeDazzle. It’s an online shoe club with hot shoes at great prices. Currently SD is having an amazing $15 clearance sale. There are numerous styles to choose from including pumps, wedges, flats and boots. Below are just a few of my favorites.

Please note that all clearance priced shoes are not returnable. This Summer Clearance sale will be valid through 11:59 p.m. PST on 6/28/2013 according to the official ShoeDazzle twitter.

SD 15

Clockwise from top left:

Yasmyne is a studded gladiator sandal. I have these in black, which is also included in the sale. These are great for day or night. I found them to fit true to size.

Caragh is a mint with silver platform with a 5.5″ outside heel and 1″ platform. I just ordered these. So sweet.

Nariko (middle) is a 4.5″ t-strap pump that comes in pink or a silvery green (both on sale). I’m partial to the pink. These are a signature sole! If you are unaware, ShoeDazzle has produced a variety of Signature Soles in the past. These shoes feature hot pink soles.

Courageous are high top patriotic style sneakers. I don’t have these but they look both comfy and cool.

Diddy are grey motorcycle boots with a 1.75″ heel. I’ve found other low heeled boots from SD very wearable in the past.

To join ShoeDazzle, click here.

Read customer reviews on each shoe’s page. This is how I find out what size will be the best fit for me. I normally wear a size 8.5 but sometimes a certain style will fit better if you go up or down a half or even a full size.

I recommend becoming a VIP member. As a VIP member you will be billed $9.95 monthly, which can be used towards any ShoeDazzle purchase. If you don’t want to buy something that month the dough just accumulates in your account until the next month. VIP members also enjoy other great benefits. VIP orders that are shipped to US addresses qualify for free standard ground shipping. VIP members even get discounts on new styles. Yes, I do love being a ShoeDazzle VIP.

Keep an eye out for sale emails from SD. That’s how I’ve been able to score some super hot deals. They also frequently have giveaways on their Facebook. Even if you aren’t a winner you can often receive discount codes, which I adore.

New shoes!

Yes, I made my selections and created these polyvores at the very beginning of January. However due to personal issues my writing has been on the back burner.

Don’t worry though. Sometimes even if a shoe is currently sold out in your size it will come back in stock. Plus I chose some shoes that were fairly new but not new in January. Many of those are on sale. Kickass!

January 2013 Shoe Club Picks-heels

(from top right clockwise)
Kaylie (Sole Society)-These 4 3/4″ tall suede open toe heels with bow detail come in dark taupe, black iridescent and emerald treasure (my pick!).
Marisca (ShoeDazzle)-These 5.75″ tall peep toe platforms feature striking criss cross straps come in nude/tan or black.
Bianca (Shoe Mint)-These 5.5″ tall leather and suede platforms are super cute. They come in nude, red ikat and rosewood.
Reina (ShoeDazzle)-These 5.5″ tall faux patent t-strap platforms feature ShoeDazzle’s pink Signature sole. They come in black and green.
Tay (ShoeDazzle)-These 5.5″ tall faux suede pump has awesome crystalline embellishments. They come in taupe.
Sami (ShoeDazzle)-These 6″ tall velvet platform pumps with studs come in black. They also have a bright pink insole.
Sorcha (ShoeDazzle)-These 6″ tall faux patent leather peep toe pumps rock some neat spiked embellishments. They come in black, red or nude/tan.
Lacey Days Shoe (JustFab)-These 5 1/2″ tall mary janes from Iron Fist feature a ladylike, lace and skull print. In addition to red they come in beige. Plus they offer a matching bag. Now I adore this print and would own these already if it weren’t for the fact that I’m trying to cut back on buying shoes that I can’t wear daily. They are also a part of the current buy one get one free sale from JustFab.
Phoebe (ShoePrivee)-These 6″ tall peep toes are accented with some fun studs. They are available in teal and black or nude and black.

January 2013 Shoe Club Picks-boots & booties

(from top right clockwise)
Lolita Love Bootie (JustFab)-These 6″ tall leopard, polka dot and removable flower booties are so amazing! They are definitely on my must buy list. They are also a part of the current buy one get one free sale from JustFab.
X Marks the Spot Bootie (JustFab)-These 5 1/4″ platform booties come in an awesome blue leopard print. Plus the heel and front platform are covered in faux suede. These are also a part of the current buy one get one free sale from JustFab.
Cecile (JustFab)-These 5″ tall booties with side bow come in teal, black or taupe.
Amsterdam (JustFab)-These 5″ tall buckle strapped boots are stunning. I am so close to buying these. They have also been a top selling shoe on JustFab all month long.
Wakana (ShoeDazzle)-These 4.75″ tall velvet knee hight boots feature adjustable buckles and a neat open back. They come in black, red or purple. Plus they are currently half off.
Rock On (JustFab)-These 1″ tall boots from Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn collection are a real eye catcher, especially in the leopard. They also come in black. I myself had to have them and bought these so let me give you the scoop. They zip up the side, lace up the front and have adjustable studded skull buckles at the top. You have to size up in Abbey Dawn if you are a half size (I’m an 8.5) so I got a 9 in these. Even with that they are still tight in the calves even after unloosening the laces most of the way. I would say to size even higher but the heel is slightly loose on me. They are really unique though. They are another item in the JustFab buy one get one free sale.
Klarissa (ShoeDazzle)-These 5″ tall faux suede bootie features rear laces and a side zipper. They come in purple, blue and black. Plus they are current half off!
Manslayer Bootie (JustFab)-These 5″ tall studded rocker style peep toe booties are edgy and sexy. I was told by my ex that they are sexy so there’s a man’s opinion for you. They are a part of the current buy one get one free sale from JustFab as well.
Simmy (ShoePrivee)-These 6″ tall faux suede leopard print wedges include a side zipper and gold heel. These are amazing. I would have already gotten them for myself if it weren’t for the fact that the heel looks a bit narrow for me to walk around regularly in.
