Where we are headed with this blog and my Youtube channel. I love all of you supporters. Stay with me. I will me here to entertain and inform you in the future. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Missemmamm.com has been my baby since I started in it, oh 2009 or so, around a decade. I still love it, but I am evolving. I am not writing as much. I am more into video, than words or print at this time. I can blame society, but it is also my preference. At at rate, this is the current “mission statement” or the ultimate idea” of my blog, at this point in time.

No one, controls this idea and/or statement, I pay for this blog/site. This is what I believe in/want to perpetuate. Your choice? What you want to read? I love MYSELF and MAY love all of you! This is about my blog ONLY.

If you have always been a fan, I applaud and love you. At any other rate, celebrate, ignore, or ruminate on this.

THANK YOU!

The theme of the May 2015 Loot Crate was Unite. Check out my video review above and a breakdown of the items included below.

Note: Some links are Amazon affiliate links. If your cookies are cleared and you make a purchase after clicking through, then a small commission will be yielded for this site.

Exclusive Green Ranger T-shirt by Flophouse
approximately $10
power rangers tee
This is an exclusive, but I just value all tees at $10 or so. It was teased by LC that the tee for May would be Power Rangers related, so I ordered it in Robert Sunshine’s size, instead of mine. He’s the Power Ranger fan out of this couple. As usual, this shirt is made by Gildan. It is 100% cotton, so it does shrink if you don’t wash it in cold water. I forgot this time, but it still fits him fine. I’ve noticed that tees from Loot Crate seem to fit loosely, so even if you end up washing and drying them normally, they still fit well. He loves it and has gotten numerous compliments on it. I dig the design, even though I haven’t watched Power Rangers in decades. You can buy a Green Ranger costume tee for around $20 on Amazon.

Avengers: Age of Ultron Car Decal from Marvel
approximately $6.88
decal
This decal also appears to be an exclusive, as I’m not finding it anywhere online, aside from resellers. I think that it’s pretty cool. I definitely was all for this box when they announced that it would include at least two Marvel items. Other Avengers decals sell for $6.88 on Amazon.

Exclusive Team Fortress 2 4 Pin Collector’s Set
approximately $5
pins

These are another exclusive that you can’t buy anywhere else. These pins are for a free online game. I haven’t played it, but have already fallen for the pink unicorn (Balloonicorn) pin, adorable! You can play the game here FOR FREE via Steam.

Exclusive Bravest Warriors Tales from the Holo John #1 Comic by BOOM! Studios
approximately $1.99
KIMG0217
Yes, this is also an exclusive item. I don’t watch this show, but a friend of mine who does seemed to dig this comic. You can buy other Bravest Warriors comics and comic compendiums here on Amazon.

Marvel Super Heroes Ice Tray by ICUP, Inc.
$9.80
cubes
I am in love with this! Not only is it an ice cube tray with molds that include Captain America’s shield and Tony Stark’s face, but it’s also made of silicone. I plan to use it to make jello shots and candy as well as ice cubes.

Exclusive MAD Magazine Loot Crate Edition from DC Entertainment
approximately $2.66
mad
Yep, exclusive! Prior to receiving this, I hadn’t read MAD in years. However, this is totally getting me back into it. I really got a kick out of the Avengers parody comic within. A 6 issue/1 year subscription to MAD is $16 on Amazon.

Exclusive Marvel Sneaker Laces by Esquire Footwear
approximately $7
laces
These exclusive laces came in either black and white or color. They show the comic scroll that you see prior to each Marvel movie. Very fun!

Exclusive Rick and Morty Jigsaw Puzzle from Cardinal Industries, Inc.
approximately $5
puzzle
Yes, also exclusive. RS is a huge Rick and Morty fan, so he totally digs this. You can buy the first season of Rick and Morty here on Amazon.

Loot Crate May 2015 Unite Pin
approximately $1
mo
I think that these pins are cute. I do collect them, even though I don’t buy a crate every month.

Loot Crate Magazine Unite May 2015 No. 22
lc mag
I get a kick out of these “magazines”. They really are styled like one and are so much more fun to check out than the cards that other boxes tend to include. Not only do they include a rundown on the items in your box, but there are also a few related articles.

box
And lastly, the crate itself! Turned inside out, it resembles a superheroes’ locker room. I appreciate the detail that LC puts into their boxes.

Actual Price
$19.95

Approximate Retail Value
$49.33

As usual, this was another winning box content and value wise from Loot Crate.

I extended my college program into the photopass role. I recorded this a couple of weeks ago. I was (am?) so excited. What is photopass (dpi)? Watch the video y’all. This is what I “knew” prior to starting any of the training. I was talking about getting through everything because I was ending my first program. You go directly from one to the other.

beer pack

So basically New Year’s Eve always sucks. However, eventually, after this video, I called people who actually care about me. Sometimes you gotta hit up your town back home to find those who care. I mean, as much as I want to make friends here, it’s not like I’m going to know them forever anyway, so I guess it’s not that big of a deal.

Watch on to find out more about my personal experience as a cast member in merchandise at Walt Disney World.

I believe that the only thing that I forgot to mention (well briefly alluded to) in the video is merchantainment. Merchantainment means entertaining guests. You can do this while working the many functions of your role. I have gotten to do it much more so while I was in greeter role at my store, which I haven’t been doing as much lately.

While merchantaining you can generally chat with the guests, give out stickers or buttons or even play games with them. I’ve even asked children for their autographs “because Mickey asked me to do so”. Another small touch is asking for a guest’s “autograph” instead of their signature when they have to sign for a purchase. Those are the kind of small, yet fun personal touches that add to a guest’s experience. I’m pretty burnt out right now and forgot to mention them in the video. They are definitely worth knowing about though. I may do another video strictly about merchantaining in the future.

I haven’t worked World of Disney yet (due to the construction/traffic/parking issues currently happening in Downtown Disney, aka the soon to be Disney Springs). I do plan to one day though. I have worked the Emporium (the biggest store in Magic Kingdom).
